On September 2, 2017 Frankfort Police Department Officers responded to 700 Forrest Hill Drive for a welfare check on a male who was seen laying on the ground.  Upon arrival officers determined the male, identified as Michael Shane Gaines, was deceased.  It was determined Mr. Gaines had died from multiple gunshot wounds.
